BAYHOUSE SCHOOL

The Design Block at Bay House School is located in the grounds of Bay House, a Grade II listed marine villa designed by Decimus Burton in 1838, and later extended for use by the flourishing secondary school. Despite challenging site constraints the building fits neatly into an area of the campus, which needed improvement, and makes up a trio of buildings, all designed by HCC Property Services over the past
decade.
The three-storey building provides up-to-date design technology facilities in a large new workshop space on the ground floor, with offices and classrooms located at the first and second floors.
